91µÎµÎ in the News: Standing Up for the Code of Ethics in Tennessee

Filed by Sen. Jack Johnson, SB1 updates last year's HB1840/SB1556, which allows counselors to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community and others. It's the reason 91µÎµÎ relocated its 2017 Conference & Expo, originally scheduled for Nashville, to San Francisco.

"The 91µÎµÎ code of ethics has been built over 50 years," says the 91µÎµÎ's [Richard] Yep, citing the careful standards the organization takes in every revision. "These are designed to safeguard consumers. They are based on research and education, not the whims of politicians."
